Season 4 Premieres In July 2021

Season 4 of grown-ish premieres Thursday, July 8 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on Freeform. New episodes will air on Thursdays

“Waiting for July 8th liiiike,” Yara Shahidi, who plays ZoeyJohnson, posted a behind-the-scenes clip on her Instagram on Monday. So are we sis! Are we the only ones who are curious if she and Aaron are going to finally stop playing and make it right?

Where Season 3 left us

Spoiler alert, if you’re not caught up. But the previous season ended with some big, adulting decisions. For one, Zoey decided to leave her celebrity styling job to go back to school and finish her degree. Mind you at the end of season 2 and beginning of season 3, she had big Cali aspirations to pursue styling. And she did and worked with clients like Joey Badass and his protégé, Indigo, played by rapper, Saweetie, which was more or less a headache.

When Zoey returns to Cal U, she and Aaron, played by Trevor Jackson, decide to rekindle their on and off-again relationship. But while ‘Zaaron’ is getting back on track, their friends’ love lives are falling apart.  Jazz asked her boyfriend, Doug for space while she trains for track and field.  Javier has been cheating on Ava. And Nomi returns to Cal U with a whole baby!

Whew!
