First the Barbie Doll and now a movie! Misty Copeland keeps making Black Girl Magic!  New Line Cinema is bringing the story of the first American-African principal of one of the world’s leading ballet companies to the big screens.
Gregory Allen, the writer behind the films ” Remember the Titans” and “Ali” will be constructing Copeland’s own biopic.
The biography will be titled : ” Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina” and chronicle Copeland’s humble beginnings from The movie will be adapted from Copeland’s best-selling 2014 autography with the same title. “Life in motion” doesn’t have a release date yet , but we’re already excited! Copeland is the first black female principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre.
