As basic masks run out, fashion designers are coming up with creative ways for us to look good and stay safe.

Before purchasing a mask make sure:

  • It’s made from cotton or a tightly-woven, water-resistant fabric that has a fiber pouch.
  • The mask is wide enough to cover your face and chin

Tampa-based fashion designer, Elizabeth Carson Racker, is helping others through this pandemic by making unique designer masks with materials from her ECR Fashion Design Boutique. Prices start at $10.

A Gofundme page has been set up to raise $25,000 so Laviebyck can donate 10,000 masks to thousands of healthcare providers in multiple hospitals across the country. She and her team also sell these filtered designer masks for $10. Proceeds go towards donations for providing nurses and doctors with masks.
