BET’s ‘Baldwin Hills’ Gerren Taylor has died at the age of 30. Taylor was pronounced dead on Sunday, April 11. It was originally reported that she had died in her sleep but the cause of her death is still unknown and has not been revealed yet.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Taylor broke out as an original cast member of BET’s Baldwin Hill from 2007-2009. She appeared on the show for all three seasons and went on to star in other films.

In addition, Taylor had a successful career as a runway model. She walked for Tommy Hilfiger, Jeremy Scott, and many more. According to E!, Taylor was the youngest model to sign with L.A. Model’s runway division at just the age of 12.

Taylor was also a mother to a 7-year-old daughter, who she featured frequently on her Instagram page. She was also an entrepreneur. Her ventures included Hush Dollz Boutique and Miyoko’s Closet. It seems she was also working on opening a dog boutique called Poochie Couture.
