In the past, Union has been very open about her struggles with motherhood  In her 2017 book, We’re Going to Need More Wine, the 46-year-old discussed her multiple miscarriages and issues with In vitro fertilization or IVF.

Also in her memoir, she revealed another hindrance to start a family,  her struggle with adenomyosis, an condition in which the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus.
“For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, ‘Do you want kids?'” she wrote in her memoir. “A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause.”
Although she is a loving stepmother, Union has made no secret that she always wanted a child of her own and we’re so happy she finally has that blessing!
