At the age of 17, Laura I. Gómez is kicking ass in the tech world. Although she was an undocumented girl until the age of 17, her latest endeavors is her trying to solve the problem of diversity in tech through her own company, Atipica. Atipica helps tech companies find diverse candidates.

Another young woman Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski, a 26 year-old Cuban from Chicago, is being called the next Albert Einstein. Pasterski is known for her Spin Memory Effect and PSZ Triangle. These days, the Harvard PhD, is studying the most complex theories in physics.

Then, there’s the young women in Hollywood making waves and changing history. In another world dominated by men, women in this industry refuse to let men keep holding the spotlight, so they set out to hold their own torches.

Marsai Martin, 15, known for her role on Black-ish, is the youngest executive producer ever! Accomplishing milestones at such an early age means there is a lot more barriers this young lady can break. She also is an activist for fighting bullying and social isolation (yet here we are with social distancing).

Now, women have always rocked in the kitchen regardless if we stayed there or not. But can you believe that we still have had to set milestones even there, decades later?

Chef Mariya Russell is the first black woman to earn a Michelin star. She was recently a semifinalist in Best Chef: Great Lakes. Come on men, really?

Women refuse to just be gorgeous creations. We have capital beauties like South Sudanese-Australian supermodel Adut Akech Bior, who is making fashion history while working with the United Nations to help refugees.

In an interview with CNN, Bior said ” I want to tell the girls who look like me and girls who have insecurities that, instead of hating their appearance and trying to cover it up, they should just embrace it and be proud of it.”

Like 17-year-old Greta Thunberg, one of the youngest and brilliant climate activists to grace the world, women show no matter the age, if there is a cause we are fighting for it.
