The Scandal actress is making it possible for all of us to get our ‘Olivia Pope’ on with two new makeup palettes.

If you ever turned into Scandal on ABC’s #TGIT night, you know that Kerry Washington’s ( a.k.a Olivia Pope’s) face always stayed beat! Her makeup was always on point, whether she was playing naughty or nice. Thanks to Neutrogena.

The actress recently teamed up with the company to create two new beauty projects. The Essential Eye Palette and the Essential Cheek Palette are the latest products to be added to the Neutrogena lineup.

The eye palette features five neutral shades with a built-in primer that allows it to last up to 12 hours. The cheek palette includes a brush, bronzer and highlighter.

Both combined are meant to create the perfect spring look. Carola Gonzalez reportedly used both palettes on her for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

Beauty — for me — is not just about how we look, it really is about who we are,” Washington tells PeopleStyle. “So I wanted the names in both palettes to reflect who we are on the inside, the qualities that make us shine bright. Because, our makeup should do that. It should reveal those inner qualities.”

The beauty guru and mother of two has been a spokesperson for the skincare brand since 2013 and also marks the first time Neutrogena has branded the product with her name. She tells Allure Magazine, when creating the products she wanted something that was straightforward and reliable for the ideal woman on the go.

“On a busy day, if I keep these two essential palettes in my purse at all times, I can have other products that I toss in and out, ” the actress and spokesperson says.” But if I have these two, I’m armed with everything I need, no matter who I am, no matter where I’m going.”

The 41 year-old adds that she wanted something to “work for everybody, for every situation” and “to take the complexity out of it and just have your essential kit.” She says beauty comes in all different packages and its important that versatility is recognized. After all there is not one perfect standard of beauty.

“We want to make sure that what we’re doing is buildable and blendable, so that it can be used by as many people as possible,” she tells Allure. “We’re on the journey too. We’re not perfect. We know we’re not perfect. We’re just trying to take more and more steps to get there.”

Washington is the latest woman to have her a makeup line inspired by her on the market. Last week, MAC cosmetics announced the official release of the Aaliyah-collection, inspired by the 22 year-old singer and actress who was killed in plane crash in 2001. The Aaliyah collection will feature a nine-pan eyeshadow and brown lipstick. It will be available online on June 20th and in stores June 21st.

As a representative for Neutrogena, Washington is committed to creating color palettes for all skin types and shades. Also as the creative consultant, she has always been very hands-on with the brand. Last November, she released her limited collection RainBath shower gel.
