Gabby Douglas lands reality show documenting road to Olympics

Olympic champion Gabby Douglas is looking to make history once again and she’s inviting us on her journey.

Starting in May, Douglas and her family will be starring in a new reality series on Oxygen called, ” Douglas Family Gold.”  The show will chronicle Douglas’ as she tirelessly prepares to attend the 2016 Rio Summer Games in August.  Recently, she scored an victory winning the American Cup in March.  The 20-year-old is looking to become the first woman in nearly 50 years to repeat the Olympic all-around gold medalist win. She’s training in Columbus, Ohio.
Her mother Natalie Hawkins, sisters Arielle Hawkins and Joyelle Douglas, brother Johnathan Douglas and grandmother Carolyn Ford, will all be featured in the upcoming reality series.

Tune into ” Douglas Family Gold” airs on May 25.
