Beyoncé is giving women another reason to get into formation, this time in education.

f1To commemorate the one-year anniversary of her award-winning, life-altering Lemonade album, Royal Woman Queen Bee launched a ‘Formation Scholars’ program on her website. Four scholarships will be awarded to young women who “think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident.”

To qualify you must be a incoming freshmen, current or graduate student during the 2017-2018 academic year at the following schools:

  • Berklee College of Music
  • Howard University
  • Parsons School of Design
  • Spelman College

The women must be pursuing a major in African-American studies, literature, music or creative arts. To learn more information about the scholarship, including the amount of the award and how you can apply, go directly to the participating schools’.

Concerts are great but this is better! We can’t wait to see what she does to celebrate the second anniversary of Lemonade.
