Louis Stancil is expanding his brand and helping aspiring actors on the way. This past week, the award-winning acting celebrity acting coach opened the second location for his acting academy. LS Acting Studios overlooks Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. The first academy, which opened in 2020, is located in Atlanta.
“It was exciting,” the 31-year-old reflects on the moment when he officially cut the ribbon to his new studio. “Just to have my family that I haven’t seen, my friends I haven’t seen in so long just to support. Actors I never meant, just to show up, it was overwhelming.”

Who is Louis Stancil and what is LS Studios?
Stancil is best known for coaching talent such as Meek Mill for his Netflix movie, Charm City Kings; and several actors under Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s production company, Overbrook Entertainment, and P Diddy’s network, REVOLT TV. The Baltimore native created LS Studios to teach and mentor aspiring actors, directors, and writers, with the help of celebrities, producers, and other industry professionals, who offer their services free of charge.
“If a person is passionate, tenacious, and has thick skin to handle the rejection of the industry, we want to work with you,” Stancil states on his IMDB pro account.
Filmmaker and photographer Kayla Odoms is an intern for LS Studios and tells RoyalTee she plans on joining she plans on the academy’s scriptwriting and directing classes.
“I feel like this is a great opportunity,” Odoms says about the studio. “If you’re looking to do this as a hobby or a career, it’s a great place to start.”
Who is Reec Swiney?
The up and coming of Black Hollywood and other creatives attended the grand opening. Among those in attendance was Atlanta’s Reec Swiney, who hosted the grand opening.

When Swiney is not hosting influential events in ATL or the west coast, he is in the community. The author and father is the founder of the non-profit, Positive American Youth, Inc.(PAYUSA). Launched in 2008, the organization gives back to those in need through turkey distributions, toy giveaways, annual celebrity charity basketball games, and other events.
