People find dozens of reasons to avoid working out. These range from having little to no time, not having access to a gym or any gym equipment. However, the fitness world has been working steadily to eliminate these issues. The 7-minute workouts that can be done at home for those pressed on time. The bodyweight workouts for those that don’t have a home gym or equipment. Apps that count your steps for the day. Calorie counters to show whether you are in a deficit or a surplus. Programs that give you advice and workouts designed to best suit your body type.
But women face a unique challenge when it comes to preparing for a productive workout. Wearing the right bra. Women that go into an intense workout wearing an unsupported bra can experience discomfort, whether the workout style is cardio, lifting weights or even yoga. Engaging in high impact workouts without the right bra can leave women with issues down the line. Besides the discomfort and aching, women can have irreversible tissue damage in their breasts. Stretch marks and sagging are also results from improper clothing. And it doesn’t stop there. This damage can extend to the nerve tissue and issues in the neck and back.
Investing in the right bra can provide a more enjoyable and comfortable experience. Even the accountability coach, “Nique” knew that she should have the right type of bra for her personal weight loss journey. She saw a need and created her own high support sports bra brand, Fit for a Queen.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind to ensure that you are investing in the correct type of bra. Make sure that the bra fits correctly. If a bra is too tight or too loose, it will cause as much damage as not wearing a bra at all. Some sports bra also size differently than the everyday bra. When researching which bra is right for you, keep in mind how the sizes may differ.
Nique advises anyone buying from her site to order the next size up from their regular bra size. Another tip in being properly supported, replace the bra regularly. Through repeated use and runs in the washing machine, the bra will lose its elasticity. Women in the fitness community, like Nique, have introduced their own sports bra brand to ensure that another reason to not enjoy working out has been eliminated.
