InCheq made its mark at the 2025 NMSDC Annual Conference & Exchange (NMSDC) in Miami. The conference took place between Nov. 2nd and 5th in Miami. It was an opportunity to bring awareness and advance minority-owned businesses in the tech and manufacturing space.
Founded by Keith Lambert, InCheq is a task management and operations app designed specifically for factory floors. It helps companies streamline daily workflows, ensure compliance, and track real-time performance metrics — all from a phone or tablet. The Black-owned tech company is fast becoming a leader in innovative task verification and management solutions, partnering with NMSDC for the second year in a row.
Fo, r InCheq, the conference was a powerful opportunity to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones.
“We met some great leads in the industrial cleaning space,” says Brianna Van Zanten, VP of Customer Success at InCheq. “They are right down the street for us in Chicago.”
Scavenger Hunt connections
A standout feature of the week was the NMSDC x InCheq Scavenger Hunt. The experience offered attendees an intimate experience to engage in the conference.
One of this year’s winners, Leandra Joseph, shared that the hunt encouraged her to explore the floor more intentionally, allowing her to meet people she wouldn’t have otherwise and learn from them along the way, perfectly aligning with the program’s goals.
“It created genuine, personal moments and helped us start some really meaningful conversations,” says Van Zanten. “Especially joining people together that usually do not meet or cross paths.
Reuniting with familiar faces
The NMSDC 2025 conference also provided valuable moments of reunion. Industry leaders and longtime peers, including Bryan Wiggins, JR Davis, Michael E. Taylor, and Carmen Castillo, stopped by to reconnect with the InCheq team and offer inspiration as their work and impact continue to evolve.
Additionally, InCheq’s sister company, Oxidizers Inc., was stationed directly across from its booth. Both teams fed off each other’s energy throughout the week, engaging with attendees and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere on the conference floor.
As the conference concluded, Miami left the InCheq team with genuine connections and exciting opportunities.
