From the movies to the television shows, there is going to be plenty of RoyalTee at the Golden Globes Awards. The nominations were announced Monday morning Beverly Hills and history is already being made before the winners are even announced. For example, three black women share the category for Best Supporting Actress for the first time ever. Issa Rae’s climb from YouTube to Hollywood is perhaps the most inspiring. Her role in HBO’s “Insecure’ has earned the actress her first Globe nomination. The unapologetic , realness of the television series, “Atlanta” is up for two nominations. And the upcoming movie, “Hidden Figures” , has had us excited for the past six months, with two nominations. The Golden Globes air January 8 at 5 p.m. on NBC.
