Issa Rae is giving two lucky people a chance to live their best life during Super Bowl weekend. The Insecure creator and star teamed up with Airbnb to make her south Los Angeles home available from Saturday, Feb. 12, to Valentine’s Day on Monday, Feb. 14. for $56 dollars a night. The stay is largely inspired by the HBO hit series and will include famous landmarks from the show. Reservations to rent the home opened on Feb. 8 and sold out in one day.
“If Issa Dee can manage apartments, surely *eye* can manage an @Airbnb,” Rae tweeted.

According to the Airbnb description, guests will enjoy “panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Hills from the outdoor lounge and a stylish mid-century.
“I became an Airbnb Host to create a stay where fans of the show can experience this for themselves. From dinner by Worldwide Tacos on game day to art from my favorite local artists on the walls – this is LA, my way,” Rae said in a statement.
She added in the listing, “The streets, sights and sounds of my hometown have long been a main character in my creative work. You may have heard that I’m rooting for everybody black — and this mission is inspired by my LA community. During this epic weekend, I hope you come to appreciate my community’s rich history and its many contributions to LA.”
The home has artwork by local LA Black artists such as Maya Iman, Vakseen, and Domonique Brown and a swimming pool “dripping in Issa vibes with chaise lounges and canopies.”
As part of the stay, guests will be welcomed with a virtual greeting from Issa, a catered game day for two, a self-care day at Sienna Naturals hair care, dinner for two at Worldwide Tacos, and a curated guidebook into of the local Black businesses to check out in south LA, including Rae’s Hilltop Nook coffee shop.
Rae is among thousands of LA locals who partnered with Airbnb to support equitable health services, youth development, and job creation in South LA. Tiffany Haddish is another Black celebrity who has rented their property for the cause.
