#RoyalTeeApproved
On Wednesday [March 25] our Forever First Lady Michelle Obama will be joining DJ D Nice for a virtual music party The goal: to register eligible voters for the upcoming presidential election. The initiative is part of Mrs. Obama’s nonprofit organization When We All Vote.
“As the country’s reality continues to change in the wake of the coronavirus’s ongoing impact on individuals and communities, When We All Vote is committed to exploring innovative and safe ways to reach voters where they are — at home,” the organization released in a statement.
In this tough time, music can comfort us and bring us together. That’s why I can’t wait for the @WhenWeAllVote #CouchParty with a featured live set from @djdnice! He’ll keep our volunteers motivated with some tunes as they help register voters.
Thanks @djdnice for all you do! https://t.co/lJWX7MQAgL

Music is therapeutic to the soul. DJ D Nice reassured that belief last week when he bought the world together for a global virtual party that had us sweating off our headscarves and dancing in our living rooms all night. Forever FLOTUS and Forever POTUS Barack Obama were among the VIP attendees. Others included Angela Bassett, Oprah Winfrey, John Legend and Tracee Ellis Ross.
More than 3,000 volunteers have registered to text during the #CouchParty event using “laptops, iPads, or smartphones.” The goal is to reach 50,000 people.
The virtual party takes place tonight at 6:30 p.m. EST.
