From scrubs to the runway- that’s some evolution for Saje Nicole. The Haitian beauty left nursing school to pursue her modeling and acting dreams. She’s not your common size 0 or 2 but Nicole is unbothered and unapologetically secure about who she is and how she looks. The South Florida native has been ‘curving’ her path through the industry modeling for brands such as Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty, and Nike. She’s made small-screen appearances in movies such as Bad Boys 3 with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith and Beach Bum with Snoop Dogg and Matthew McConaughey.
But the evolutionary moment came for Nicole this summer when she became the finalist for The Sports Illustrated Swim Search 2021 and recently rocking Miami Swim Week. The same major publication that one of her role models, Tyra Banks, became the first Black woman to ever grace the cover of in 1996.
“I love all of my clients,” Nicole tells RoyalTee when asked about her favorite brand to work with. “Each one of them has a different vibe on set and is amazing! Today, I would have to say that it is Sports Illustrated because of the community and family aspects. When I shoot with certain clients it simply feels great, I go home, and then I see the images a few months down the line. But Sports Illustrated is a brand that follows you everywhere you go. Once you become a part of the Sports Illustrated family you can feel it every single day!”

Persevere to the goals
An advocate for inclusivity and body positivity, Nicole is not only passionate about inspiring women to curve their path and pursue their dreams but also to embrace those curves like the RoyalTee they are!
“No matter what obstacles come before me, I have made sure that I persevere through them and will continue to persevere until I reach all of my goals,” Nicole says when asked what makes her a Royal Woman. ” I like to live by a quote from Henry Ford: ‘Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re probably right.’
