Southern University’s renowned Human Jukebox band gave us all of the second-line vibes as the headliner for the pregame show.

The band started off their performance with NOLA jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard with their rendition of Teddy Swims “Losing Control.” They joined several NOLA artists, including Soul Rebels, Leroy Jones, Freddie Lonzo, and the Spirit of New Orleans Gospel Choir. Master P also came on the field.

The Human Jukebox recently performed on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

“This means so much to the students after all they’ve been through this year. The mental health challenges and still performing at a high level speaks volumes to their dedication and commitment to this band program,” said band director Dr. Kedric Taylor.
