This year’s Super Bowl ads featured a few old and new faces. It’s one of those rare occasions where people tend not to get up during commercial breaks. Below is a list of some of our favorite commercial moments from SuperBowl LV:
Uber Eats, “Wayne’s World and Cardi B’s Shameless Manipulation”
Nobody would have ever imagined that the “Wayne’s World” cast and Cardi B would ever be in the same room together, but then came the Uber Eats commercial. The trio pokes fun at classic ad manipulation. Cardi even adds in her signature tongue roll while singing the Wayne’s World theme song.

Toyota, “Jessica Long’s Story”
Most big game commercials are funny, but Toyota’s 13-time Paralympic gold medalist Jessica Long was one exception. It documents Long’s adoption story and how there is “hope and strength in all of us.”

Cadillac, “Scissor Hands Free”
Cadillac’s re-envisioned version of “Edward Scissorhands” with Timotheé Chalamet and Winona Ryder is another ad that took viewers on a journey to the past. Timotheé acts as Edgar, the son of Edward and Kim, who can finally enjoy something without using his “hands.”

Amazon, “Alexa’s Body”
Michael B. Jordan channeled his title as People’s Sexiest Man Alive in Amazon’s big game commercial. He turns from an actor to the new body for the Alexa Voice System, and we’re not mad about it.

State Farm Insurance, “Drake From State Farm”
If there is one thing Drake is going to do, it is remind everyone that he started as an actor. His part in State Farm Insurance’s game day ad is no exception. The commercial also stars quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, and actor Paul Rudd.

Door Dash, “The Neighborhood”
Daveed Diggs and Big Bird take a stroll through a Sesame Street-set neighborhood in Door Dash’s Superbowl commercial. You can’t go wrong with Diggs and everyone’s favorite toddler show.

General Motors, “No Way Norway”
Will Ferrell, Kenan Thompson, and Awkwafina somehow travel to (or attempt to, at least) Norway in less than two minutes. Besides the commercial’s comedy, it shows that GM is making strides toward an all-electric future.
