In the latest episode of Cardi B’s show, Cardi Tries, the rapper invites actress and producer Marsai over to do some black girl magic- literally.
The episode, which premieres on April 1st, starts off with Cardi B and Martin having to guess a magic word to access a secret passageway in LA’s Magic Castle. Throughout the episode, the 17-year-old is more like Cardi’s unlucky assistant.
From there, the duo is greeted by Evan The Card Guy, who shows them a sly card trick and the set-up on how to do it. Cardi and Martin then go to Smoothini, a bar magician. The “Up” star is blown away with a series of clever illusions, while the Black-ish actress gets cut in two with the saw trick. The episode ends with a live performance at the Magic Castle.
The episode follows last week’s venture with Keke Palmer, where the two women went deep sea fishing. At one point, the Hustlers co-stars reenacted the scene from the 1997 film Titanic where Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) holds Rose (Kate Winslet) on the boat’s rail. “Keke, I feel like I’m flying,” Cardi said, playing the part of Rose. “Hold me tighter.”
Cardi Tries first debuted in December 2020. It premieres on Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram.
