R&B singer K. Michelle and Slutty Vegan owner Pinky Cole are joining the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta for season 17.
K. Michelle is no stranger to reality TV. The singer, known for her sharp comebacks on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, is stepping into the Housewives franchise for the first time. “I just flipped the switch. I don’t know nobody else that’s doing this,” she shared on Instagram.
Pinky Cole, founder of the plant-based restaurant chain Slutty Vegan, is bringing her entrepreneurial flair to Atlanta’s reality scene. With multiple locations nationwide, including several around the city, Cole has navigated business setbacks like buying back her own brand. She wrote on Instagram, “They counted me out…Bravo counted me in.”
In her teaser caption, she wrote, ” I’m vegan … so don’t bring me no beef,” hinting that she’s not about to be with the drama. But that’s easier said than done in reality TV.
A sneak peek of season 17 shows both women involved in tense moments with the existing cast, according to 11Alive. K. Michelle is seen being held back during a heated confrontation, while Cole dives into the drama with her trademark boldness. Fans can expect plenty of lively interactions and behind-the-scenes revelations.
Porsha Williams, Angela Oakley, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, and Shamea Morton will all be returning as cast members.
Real Housewives of Atlanta season 17 premieres Sunday, April 5, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
