Disney is already magic but Misty Copeland will be adding a little bit more in  the upcoming ‘Nutcracker’ movie

The Royal Woman will be taking the lead in Disney’s live-action film, ” The Nutcracker and the Four Realms”.  The 33 year-old will play the prima ballerina in the movie’s only dance scene.

The film will be based off of  Peter Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet about a little girl’s nutcracker coming to life on Christmas Eve and the enchanting journey that follows after, filled with giant soldier mice, living, dancing dolls and gingerbread castles.

Copeland has already made #blackgirlmagic before by becoming the first African-American principal dancer with the American Ballet Theater.
