For those aspiring to a career in cosmetology, Beyoncé has your back. The singer’s charity, BeyGOOD announced a $500,000 annual fund that will be rewarded to support cosmetology school scholarships and salon business grants in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and New Jersey.

The five participating scholarship schools are Beaver Beauty Academy, Trenz Beauty Academy, Franklin Beauty Institute, Universal College of Beauty, and Janas Cosmetology Academy. “Fostering talent, promoting professionalism, and supporting entrepreneurship within the hair industry is deeply important to us,” reads a statement from the fund announcement. “That’s why we’re partnering with Cécred to create the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, which celebrates the influence professional stylists have on hair health and the critical importance of advocating for the salon community.”

The fund is a joint venture with Bey’s new haircare line Cécred, which launched on Feb. 20. Applications opened Tuesday and will close on March 20. Recipients will be announced on April 20.
