Beyoncé (Instagram @beyonce)

Attention Beyhivers! How would you like a chance to talk about Queen Bey 24/7 and get paid for it? Well, if you have a knack for journalism and love everything Beyoncé, then we have found the dream job for you. Gannett is looking for one full-time, experienced reporter to exclusively report on Mrs. Carter and only Mrs. Carter.

USA TODAY and The Tennessean, which are both under Gannett are hiring for a Beyoncé Knowles-Carter Reporter. Yes, that’s the title.

According to the job posting shared on Sept. 13, the Beyoncé reporter will “ chronicle the music, fashion, cultural and economic influence” of the Renaissance icon.

“The international superstar and icon’s impact is felt across generations. She has been a force in everything from how the country views race to how women think about their partners,”  the company states in the posting. “ We are looking for an energetic and enterprising writer, capable of a text and video-forward approach, who can capture Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s effect not only on the many industries in which she operates but also on society.”

Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able to identify  why the “Break My Soul” singer’s  influence “continues to expand and the effect it is having on the music and business worlds.” They also must be able to create Beyhive-related stories, and chronicle big moments in her career while captivating USA Today readers and more than 200 affiliates nationwide.

There’s also a job opening for Swifties. The USA TODAY and The Tennessean are looking for a Taylor Swift Reporter as well.

“Swift’s fanbase has grown to unprecedented heights, and so has the significance of her music and growing legacy,” the posting reads. “We are looking for an energetic writer, photographer, and social media pro who can quench an undeniable thirst for all things Taylor Swift with a steady stream of content across multiple platforms.”

Like the Bey reporter, the Swiftie opening has similar requirements. The candidate must be able to “identify why the pop star’s influence only expands, what her fanbase stands for in pop culture, and the effect she has across the music and business worlds.?”

Both jobs are remote, but it seems the two local people who get this gig will have opportunities to travel. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor’s or master’s in communications or a similar major and at least five years of journalistic experience working in a newsroom.

Having the opportunity to cover two of the biggest stars in the world for a living doesn’t look bad on a LinkedIn profile or resume.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour is the highest-grossing tour by a female artist in history, earning more than $461 million and surpassing Madonna’s 2008-2009 Sticky & Sweet Tour. Swift, who just wrapped up her epic Eras Tour, was crowned the 2023 Artist of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards and took home nine of the moon men, the most of any artist in history.
