On June 10, family and friends of Jacklyn Smith gathered in Atlanta for her homegoing services. Smith, also known as Jacky Oh, passed away at the age of 32 on May 31st. According to TMZ, who first broke the news, Smith was in Miami for a ‘mommy makeover’ which she allegedly explained in a now-deleted Instagram post. DC Young Fly, whose real name is John Whitfield, delivered a touching tribute to his late partner at the funeral, joking that he would’ve had seven more kids to go with the three children they shared together.
“I want our kids to understand that you had a beautiful soul,” said Young Fly at Smith’s funeral. You didn’t leave us; you in heaven. Your spirit is with us, you’re still here, and he has an amazing support system. Love you. Everybody in here, keep God first.”

Jacky Oh was the mother of three kids Nova 6, Nala 2, and Prince Nehemiah 10 months. She posted about her kids regularly on social media.
“I do a lot. but being a mommy is my favorite ??? God chose me 3X,” she captioned her Mother’s Day post on May 13. “I promise i never take it for granted. I’m so damn blessed man!”
Her last post was a Tiktok video of her kids sleeping. “When u get all ur kids to sleep at once ???? that right there boiiii . Tag a Mom,” she captioned the May 13th post.
Young Fly spoke about Smith as a mother in a tribute post on his Instagram. “You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful,” he wrote. “ Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!! Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat!!!”

She met DC Young Fly on Wild ‘N’ Out
Jacky Oh and Fly met on the set of MTV’s Wild N’ Out in 2015, where she was cast as one of the Wild ‘N’ Out girls on the comedy, skit show hosted by Nick Cannon.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” the show released a statement on her passing.
Jacky Oh was on the show for five seasons and was described as a “loving friend and beloved colleague.”
He dedicated his Netflix comedy special, 85 South Ghetto Legends, to his late partner.
At the end of the show, a family photo is displayed, showing Jacky and DC Young Fly with their kids. The tribute reads, “In dedication & loving memory of Jacklyn ‘Jacky Oh’ Smith.”
Jacky Oh was also an entrepreneur
There was more to the late personality figure than Wild ‘N’ Out. After leaving the show she launched her own lip gloss line, JNova Collection. The cosmetic line was named after her daughter Nova. After her death, the brand saw a boost in posthumous sales.
Jacky was also a realtor in Atlanta, selling luxury homes.
