Keke Palmer is proving once again she is a woman of many talents. On Sept. 30, she announced the launch of her new digital television network, KeyTV.

KeyTV Network is a “Keke Palmer-led company” that will spotlight a “new generation of creators.”

“I want to share everything I learned with you because this is my greatest dream of all,” Palmer, 29, said in a video clip announcing the launch. “All it takes is one of us to unlock a door to unlock a million doors for each other. I’m so excited to introduce you guys to KeyTV, where our stories matter and where we are represented as the keys to the culture.”

20 years in the making

During her introductory video on the network’s YouTube channel, Palmer expressed the need for more creatives working  “behind the screen.”

“I know everyone thinks that being in front of the camera is the end game,” she said,  “that being up here is the only key to success. But what if I told you the real power in being a creative? What if I told you there was more than one way to make it?”

Palmer wrote on her Instagram, “I’ve been doing this for 20 years, but this is what I’m most proud of. Y’all always say I keep a job, now I’m making sure we ALL got one. Sharing the keys to the culture is my greatest gift – this is for you & for us, from me.”

Expanding media empire

Last year, the millennial diva inked a TV deal with Entertainment One. “I am thrilled to be partnering with eOne to create entertaining, meaningful, fun television experiences that will deeply connect with audiences and be reflective of our current world,” Palmer told Variety.

KeyTV will expand her media empire even further. We will most definitely be tuning in. Streaming details have not been released yet. But you can follow the latest developments on the network’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
