Whether you want some quiet time to prep for the day ahead or get an early start on a project, there are perks to waking up early.
3 a.m. to 5 a.m. in the morning are peak hours for creativity and productivity.
During those hours people have the most time to themselves and cultivating what you love.
Build a Schedule
Sleep early so you can wake up early and get your day started. Rest is one of the most important things for the human body.
Doctors suggest every person needs at least 8 hours a sleep a day to maintain proper brain functions. Do not sacrifice your amount of sleep to get work done. It will not provide the results you hope to acquire, and your work will end up way worse in quality.
If you are trying to wake up during the wee hours to get done, forget about it. Like straightening your hair ( naturalistas would get this one), you need to train your body to get adjusted to these hours. Start with the baby steps. Scale your alarm clock back thirty minutes every morning until you get to 5 a.m.
Stick to Your Routine
People tend to give up when things begin to get hard, like waking up earlier than usual. Try to stick to the sleeping routine you’ve built for yourself. It will get easier, I promise. Doing an action repeatedly turns into a habit.
Set a Goal and Give Yourself Rewards
What are you planning to do in the hours between 3 to 5 a.m? Do you have a goal set in mind? Is there a purpose for you waking up that early?
Do nothing without intention. Set a goal and once you achieve it, celebrate it!
Life is meant for enjoyment and happiness. Doing the little things that bring you closer to joy sometimes requires discipline.
