Yes, we’re grown and screamed at this news! Our Disney prayers have been answered! Princess Tiana and Moana are returning to the screen as an animated series from Pixar.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, The Princess and the Frog and Moana will be the first long-form television series from Pixar and feature original music. The Tiana series will be released in 2022 and Moana will be released in 2023.

Anika Noni Rose broke the news on her social media!

And the answer is- YASSS!!!!!!

Many Tiana fans ( like ourselves) are hoping the Jingle Jangle actress reprises her princess role and voice Tiana, in the series.

Other shows Pixar announced that will be getting series included:

Baymax, a sequel series to Big Hero 6 that follows the robot as he traverses San Fransokyo looking for people who need care. It debuts next year.

• Iwájú, a collaboration between Kugali — a comics company founded to tell stories inspired by African culture — and Disney Animation. The futuristic series is slated for a 2022 premiere.

• Zootopia+, a short-form series that will explore different corners and characters from two world of the movie, premiering in 2022.

• Pixar short-form shows Dug Days, featuring the dog from Up (premiering next year) and a Cars series with Lightning McQueen and Mater road tripping across the country (2022).

The series will premiere on Disney+.
