If you love HBO’s Insecure or Tyler Perry’s Sistas, then you will love Starz’s Run The World. The series is created by Leigh Davenport, who is the executive producer alongside Yvette Lee Bowser. Both are known for the creation of the 90’s series Living Single. Run The World is taking on Starz’s #TakeTheLead initiative to create programming that features women and underrepresented audiences.

The best friends show that loyal and enviable friendship is the best way to survive and thrive in the world. The series takes on the topics of love, divorce, ambition, world domination and empowerment.

Further, the series stars Amber Stevens West  ( 22 Jump Street), Andrea Bordeaux (NCIS: Los Angeles), Bresha Webb (Sextuplets), and Corbin Reed (Valor) as the main cast.

The series also stars Tosin Morohunfola (Friend Request), Stephen Bishop (Imposters), Ericka Alexander (Living Single, Last Man Standing), Nick Sager (Queen of the South), Tonya Pickens (Fear of the Walking Dead), and Jay Walker (Sleight).

After the trailer was posted on all social media platforms a lot of women took to Twitter and Instagram to give their opinion on the new show.
