If you want something out of life you have to jump for it. And its never a good time to jump, you just have to do it. That’s what one Royal Woman did in California.

A few months ago, Kia Patterson was working at warehouse and supply store , Smart & Final. Now she owns a store! Earlier this year, the 36 year-old  launched “The Grocery Outlet” in Compton.  Its the first-black owned grocery franchise in the state of California! The outlet sells organic products.  Patterson is an shining example what happens you imply hard work and dedication to your goals. And like all black-owned businesses, she needs our support.    If you or someone you know lives in the Compton or surrounding areas, stop by, pay Kia a visit and shop, of course.

kia2“The Grocery Outlet” is located at 2175 W. Rosecrans Ave Compton, Ca. 90220. The hours are 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. We salute you Royal Woman.
