Thank you Lyft!

The ride-sharing company is riding #fortheculture by offering complimentary transportation up to $10  to several Black history memorials, museums and cultural exhibitions throughout the month of February.  Free stops include the Center for Civil and Humans Rights and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, the Apollo Theater in New York City  and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

“Much has been done, much remains to be done, and Lyft is honored to step up today to do our part to continue building inclusive and more connected communities while helping provide greater opportunity for the leaders of tomorrow,” the company released in a statements.

Lyft is also celebrating the one-year anniversary of their partnership with Black Girls Code. The organization focuses on African-American women in the technology industry.
